Treat Bag

This treat bag is a wonderful idea no matter what season.  You can fill it with ingredients for smores like in the project below, or you can fill it with your kid's favorite goodies for a birthday party.  It's simple, fun and super easy!

Supplies

- Top note Die Cuts

- Graham Crackers

- Ribbon

- Pop Dots (or your favorite adhesive)

- 2 in. Scallop circles

- Mini Candy Bars

- Black ink

- Stapler

- 1" 11/16 Round Circles

- Ghost Peeps

- Chalk Ink

- Top Note Die

 

- Your favorite stack of paper

- 3 x 4 Plastic bags

- Bone Folder

- Pink by Design Guess Who

Instructions 

Prep and Stamping

  Step 1 - Take 3 pieces of paper from your favorite stack and cut out the Top Note cut, using your favorite die cutting method.  These should be cut approximately 1/2 inch larger than the width of your clear plastic bag.

  Step 2 - Lightly Chalk the edges of the Top Note cuts to your blending preference.  This may also be done to the scallops and the circles if you like.

  Step 3 - Fold the Top Note cuts in half, using your bone folder.  

  Step 4 - Pick your favorite Pink by Design sentiment. (If you don't have any you can buy some here) This project used the Woodland Critters, and September Stamp of the Month (Guess Who) to create the tag saying "HAPPY HALLOWEEN for peeps sake"

Assembly

  Step 5 - Fill the bags with your graham cracker (it will have to be broken in half), the miniature chocolate bar, and Ghost Peeps.

  Step 6 - Take 1 of the round circles and apply a pop dot to the unstamped side.

  Step 7 - Attach the Circle to the scallop.

  Step 8 - Apply pop dot to back of scallop

  Step 9 - Fill the treat bag with graham cracker, chocolate, and peep.

  Step 10 - Place the top of clear plastic bag in the middle of the folded Top Note cut and staple.  Make sure to actually attach the bag when stapling.

  Step 11 - Wrap ribbon around the Top Note cut, and attach by tying, stapling, or gluing.

  Step 12 - Place Scallop on the top note cut in your desired location with pop dot.

  Step 13 - Repeat
